The Blue Mosque Istanbul Turkey

This is the Blue Mosque, it was pretty cool inside. They have the spiritual sessions going on while everyone is touring the place, I thought that was kinda crazy. They made me wear some blue thing to cover up my shoulders, Jeff told me when I was getting ready that the sleeves weren't long enough. I thought I would be fine, they are very strict.

Istambul, Turkey October 12th

Istambul is a beautiful place, it was one of my favorites. It has really cool buildings and there are palaces just all over. We actually ate lunch at a palace while we were here. We also got to check out inside the palace, it totally reminded me of Alanddin.

Sicily October 6th

We walked around Sicily and found this tower, we went up to the top and it had the most amazing view of the city. The fountain was in the middle of the block of the city. Later we walked around to find some Canolies and ice cream.

Cruise to Europe October 5-17

We took off on Friday October 3rd to get to Rome. The flight was about ten hours, it wasnt too bad because it was over night. We got on the ship on Sunday the 5th to head to Sicilly, our first stop.

Moving to a new home

When we got back from D.C. we had a little over a week before we took off to Europe. We decided that we wanted to get into a new place before we left. Jeff found a perfect house for us just down the road from where we were before. We got all moved out in time to go to Europe. I am so happy we did what we did, it made it so nice to come home to a place that was private and felt like home.

New York September 2008- Statue of Liberty

We went to see the Statue of Liberty, that was so cool. I never thought I would get to see New York. It is crazy to see things that are historical, I'm a dork but I just love that kind of thing. We also went to see The World Trade Center Site. That was sad to see and made me think of all the things that happened there.

New York September 2008

We always planned that when we went to D.C. we would take a weekend and go to New York. We both had never been and really wanted to go. So we were driving home from Philly and I thought we were headed back to D.C. I am obviously not very aware of what direction we are going. I had no Idea that we were in New York, Jeff loves to do little things like that to surprise me. Jeff all of a sudden said " Look it's the statue of Liberty" I thought he was joking. I looked up and saw a sign that Said Queens and it took me min to realize we were in New York. I was so so so excited!!!! I want to go back someday during christmas time.

Philly September 2008

While we were in D.C. I asked Jeff where Liberty Bell was, out of curiosity, the next thing we knew we were on our way to see it. I love how we do things spur of the moment, Jeff is so fun like that!!!! I'm very lucky!!!!

D.C. September 2008

And this is the Lincoln Memorial, we also went to see the white house and some of the museums. We didnt take pictures of the other things we saw. I need to be better at getting more pictures!!!!

D.C. September 2008

When we went to D.C. we got to see some pretty cool things. I had always wanted to come here to see all the historical sites. Here we have the Washington Memorial behind us.

Ute Football September 2008

When we got home from Kentucky, before heading to D.C. we found time to go to a football game. We didnt miss any of the home games, even with all the travel we do. I understand now why it is so important to go to all the games. There are definately not enough in a season. I love football now!!!!!

These are some pictures of Sadi, this is while we were in Kentucky. I had a lot of time to just be with Sadi. I took a lot of pictures of her almost everyday. She was only about a month old when we first got to Kentucky. She did so good on the drive, she slept almost the entire time. She is such a good baby!!!!!
